“Lovely quiet setting with various farm animals in the back garden, but finding an evening meal can be a problem. We had left a message in the morning asking to eat in, but on arrival were told we had not given enough notice. We were directed very vaguely to a restaurant which was full because of a coach party. They sent us to another which was closed ( on a Friday evening!). They told us about another place, but as we were getting further and further away, we gave up and bought some food in a……

“Very nice place to stay. The owner lives next door and occasionally comes by to check if everything is alright. Very helpful. Great place to visit with a group!”

“Very quirky little place in lovely countryside. Was perfect for a small stay. Not masses to do in the area but perfect for a relaxing time in rural surroundings. Lovely boulangerie in Brumhel, but had to search it out!”

“Pros: Niet zo ver rijden, stuk minder toeristisch dan in de Belgische Ardennen maar toch vlakbij mooie wandelplaatsjes. Het meertje 'Etang de la Motte' viel bij de kinderen erg in de smaak. Enkele fijne vakantie-uitstappen gedaan naar Chimay, Rocroi, Charlevilles Mezieres en Sedan, de bunker van Hitler in Couvin Cons: Het tuintje was niet zo gezellig, ik miste een parasol, een comfortabele ligstoel. De petanquebaan miste ballen en was overgroeid. Jammer want het heeft het potentieel om er iets……

“Pros: Nous avons passé un très bon week-end. Le gîte est bien équipé. Nous avons profité de l'espace spa qui est très agréable, la cuisine est très fonctionnelle, la literie et les chambres nikel et salle de bain parfaite. A conseiller pour passer un bon séjour en famille et entre amis.”
